I think £45m quid will prove to be good business for Jota.

Hurt like fuck at the time but I’d be surprised if Liverpool get close to getting that when they inevitably sell him on in the next couple of seasons.

It's already shocking business.

Why on earth would we do that?

We really don't need another defensive midfielder

Aye, he's a good player but that area is the least of our concerns.

Some reports linking us with Coventry's Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres

6ft 1. 12 goals in 21 starts. No idea what sort of player he is. Everton and Fulham also interested.

He’s okay but not the level of striker I think we want long term

Chelsea in talks from badiashile. Were we linked with him in the summer, or have I imagined that?

Yeah Gyokeres looks very quick for his size. Not a single headed goal in there I notice.

Question though, why did we go for Kalajdzic rather than him?

We could end up with a lot of forwards when Sasa is back and Fabio comes back from Anderlecht. Can envisage a couple of sales in the summer.

You'd imagine Jimenez will be moved on while we have a realistic chance of getting some money for him.

Sasa/Silva may not be enough depending on the former's fitness and the latter's development.
