I bet madeley will not be commenting on one of his many holiday days.

Interrupting his family commitments...Steve is in the spare room tonight and currently searching for romantic getaways Jan 6th - 12th 2023. Nothing important on those dates

His mrs caught him Googling cheap flights, thinks she’s going away, he couldn’t tell her that they were for his set of darts.

So he's on holiday when we are playing and tweeting when we're all off on holiday?

We should be looking to improve rather than back up if we can

Reading what Liam has said it does come across as a possible 2 part move

1) If someone wants Sarkic in January we will let him go if we can get a replacement to cover this season
2) Look at upgrading what we currently have in the summer. I think Sa is done in the summer.

To translate -

a) JL is somewhat less than convinced by Sa

but

b) he recognises that other areas have to be given priority this window for emergency surgery unless something falls at our feet that we can work with, and the budget means short term fix can only be in the Sarkic rather than Sa role.

Had some other fans saying to me €50m is way too much for Cunha. I tried to explain that that is part of the Mendes merry-go-round re transfer fees, but they say that makes it even worse! :D

They are correct. There's nothing smart about continually paying over market rate for players. The merry go round assumes we sell them above rate as well. Thus far we haven't
I think £45m quid will prove to be good business for Jota.

Hurt like fuck at the time but I’d be surprised if Liverpool get close to getting that when they inevitably sell him on in the next couple of seasons.

When was the last time we got on the better side of a Mendes carousel deal?

Strange. I can see a post on RAWK that calls the deal one hell of a coup that they are amazed we have pulled off.

Speaking of Liverpool it looks like they've had a £100m bid for Enzo Fernandez turned down.
