I've been a staunch defender of Adama for a few years now, but I have to agree with you/disagree with Wolvensam here.

I think he's peaked for us, probably mentally checked out and potentially on a physical decline anyway.

Unless JL ends up being another manager obsessed with solving the Adama puzzle, I'd get rid ASAP

I think this is the issue, most managers would believe they could solve the Adama puzzle knowing that if they did they would have a game changing, game winning player. We now have a new manager thinking the same.

Ait-Nouri’s goal is how to play Adama. On the counter attack with numbers forward…percentage football. We know his crossing isn’t consistent but a bad cross can still be dangerous if there are enough players in the forward positions. In his most productive season, there would often be three or four players in the area.

JL has says he would like him to stay and there may not be many offers in January.

Hobbs has already said that two of the players they're after haven't been mentioned anywhere publicly (yet).

There's no such thing as "quiet" or otherwise to be honest. In the main either people make up shit or they don't.

Again I don't think there is a "usually" right now. Lopetegui operates very differently to all the other managers under Fosun and he has the lion's share of the say on transfers.
