Charlotte are said to be in the market for a new left back...

Though at 5m he'd probably be a DP which we are currently full on.

Ok guys i have tried every button on this page, so where is the emoji button

Linked to Luton and Boro.

I wouldn't bother selling him at that price and would prefer to keep him in the squad.
Both pretty tenuous links I reckon.

Depends on what the manager thinks. If he doesn't rate him and it's either the smallest PL club ever or a Championship club, then £5m would be about the limit of what we'd get, and it'd be stupid to hold off for more from an imaginary club that doesn't exist because that bid will never come.

I've seen people moaning about the fees for Sarkic and Sanderson. £3m+ for two players with 0 league appearances for Wolves. Get real.

I'd say Bournemouth are smaller than Luton? Just about?

In my head at my age, probably not for anyone younger than 30 though.

Luton have at least got to a couple of finals in their history, crowd size is similar.

Although it's proper smallest dwarf territory!

Could argue that Luton spent five years in non-league...

Also Bournemouth were spending big as a Championship club (beyond their natural means) with a clear aim of promotion. In the nicest possible way, Luton kind of went up by accident.

Yeah, fair, in recent history Luton are the smaller club, just feel overall that they are bigger.

Obviously growing up in the late 80s, early 90s they were a good side, in the top flight and getting to League and FA Cup finals.

Barnsley another possible candidate too. Oh and Wimbledon.

Wigan on fanbase alone. Swindon another candidate, though they did have one of the most famous English footballers of the previous decade in charge when they went up.

It's not an easily definable one :D Like pre-1997 Oxford had been to more finals than Middlesbrough. But you'd be mental to say Oxford were the bigger club.

I wouldn't get too tied down on having a left/right CH combo (at least, I hope Lopetegui isn't). It's a nice to have, not an essential. Just pick the two best defenders providing they work well together.
A centre back pairing's footedness has a massive effect on both a teams build up play and ability to defend balls down the channel. Certainly a philosophy Lopetegui seems to hold, all his teams have had left/right sided centre back pairings.

Yeah, I can go along with that.

But if it's Kilman who doesn't bother defending half the time vs a right sided centre half who does defend, then I'm having the latter thanks. You can't just keep someone in because he's left footed when he doesn't do the basics of his job properly and there's a better player sat around doing nothing because he's right footed, that would be insane.

Like who would you rather play at left back, Mo Camara or Sam Ricketts.

Any club that has only one song - particularly when it's as annoying as "Yellaaaaaaas" over and over again, cannot claim to be a bigger club than anyone. Been to a few Oxford games and their atmosphere is rancid!

As much as I don't rate Kilman I don't think he's bad enough to outweigh the benefits of a left/right partnership.

If it's one of Punts' super realistic scenarios where one of the options is League 1 standard and the other is Premier League then yeah.

There is a few wolves fans retweeting it too. Obviously a fake account. No wonder the FFP message from the club landed....

Not sure I put much stock in Keen’s report. Seems like GFFH was spot on about Eveldi. Feels like Keen is just rehashing for clicks. Surely he’d be signed by now if talks have progressed so well for this long.
