If there's one position on a football pitch where that is less of an issue it's centre forward. When I have watched him he presses and works off the ball, I know it doesn't come across well but some of the best forwards I've played with are the sort that come off pissed off if we've won 1-0 but they haven't scored.
Issue is, its clearly not just the fans who don't like his attitude. He team mates are struggling with it and clearly his coach who said this about him not being involved in the last squad

"I have a selected of 19 players today. I have selected all the players who will bleed and die for Anderlecht!

You are correct, the best forwards will be fucked off if they don't score, regardless of result but it seems Fabs is taking that up a notch and pissing off all the wrong people. He can sort this out of course, but if he doesn't he will be a drifter in football and got lots of nasty looks from Jeff Shi whenever he see's the waste of that talent/£35m

Surely that quote is because of the interest in him and the fact Silva likely wants to end the loan and go elsewhere.

Predates all of that.

Nuno, Lage and now the Anderlecht manager have all questioned his attitude.

Maybe he's just a prick?

He has been critical of him a few times over the last month. Could well be SIlva got the nod others were in for him before the window opened and his head turned.

All part of his education and one of the reasons we loaned him out but its one thing pissing off the fans (despite scoring a few) but getting team mates and coach against you is another.

For the record I am not anti Fabio, I want him to do well and be a success for us. Seen glimpses of what he can do but if he has this attitude, he needs to work on that or else he ruins his career before it has started.

He probably is, I'm just not sure teammates thinking he is one is a problem. Andy Cole and Sheringham didn't speak a word to each other for the whole time they played together.

That's not a good thing btw.

But clearly on the pitch, they put that to one side and put the team ahead of their spat. Wouldn't have survived 5 mins under SAF if they took it on the pitch

You can get away with it when you have close on 350 Premier League goals between you.

Someone bumming around mid-table of the Belgian Pro League, less so.

Well, yeah there is that but it's just the most high profile example I know of where two players hated each other off the pitch but combined well on.

There is an active footballer in the Premier League who goes by the name 'prick', given to him by his teammates. Maybe he's waiting for him to retire to come back and claim the mantle?

Maybe being 18 and having a £35 million price tag on you turns you into a prick?
Must affect you in some way

Shambles of a haircut, veto
Watching Valladolid on Saturday so I'll be able to provide an in-person update on his haircut. My son was a bit gutted when he found out we wouldn't be watching Joao Felix, but now I can reassure him we don't need to worry about that, we get to watch Ivan Fresneda instead, he's miles better!!
