The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

I have problems remembering sessions too for some reason.

Bacon & cheese sausages, cheesy mash and onion pie, baked beans.

I decided this at 3 o clock this morning.

Yes! My wife is making some more homemade garlic pizza bread this week! She says she's going to make a bowl of marinara sauce for dipping too. Seeing as you can't buy Maggiano's marinara sauce in the UK, making our own is the 2nd best option!

Trout that my neighbour caught yesterday. He gutted and cleaned it but unfortunately he's left the head on. :(

Slow cooker debut!

Spanish chicken with spinach and peppers served on a bed of pasta.

First meal with just me and the kids as occupants of Chez Langers so hopefully it'll be a good one. Looks and smells ace.

Absolute smash hit. I'm a complete novice when it comes to cooking so I'm dead pleased.

Scallops in lime & coriander over rice noodles with chopped spring onions.

Had a Bahn Mi for lunch today. Roast pork, pickled daikon, pickled carrot, jalapeno, coriander, mayo. Amazing. Best sandwich I've had in years.

Pecan crusted chicken with honey mustard dressing, baked sweet potatoes, sugar snap peas.

last night I cooked a toad in the hole with carrots, broccoli and sugar snap peas using Linda Macartney sausages . Lovely. Washed down with british strawberries and creme fraiche

Tonight I have a side of Scottish salmon which will be sauteed with a herb butter and served with a selection of fresh vegetables. For desert I have made a jelly and added strawberries left over. These will be topped with creme anglaise and whipped cream for a delicious mini trifle

After the success of last nights rather hearty chicken in mushroom sauce with carrots and potatoes, I've done a bog standard chilli concarne for tonight.

Last night Squeeze delivered a glorious chow mein. Tonight it is beef in red wine. I feel almost redundant in the kitchen this week!!

Don't think i've ever tried one of Linda's sausages.

I love salmon, preferably stuffed and done on the barbie :)
