kinda just want a big salad. had a shit lunch smeared with grease from the deli, feel disgusting. crunchy greens, avocado, cucumber, tomato.... sounds perfect.

You a bit of a health nut t3ch? if I remember right ages ago when you used to be on here didn't you used to post pics of your lunch, and it was always salads ?

I am a fatass who never posts his guilty meals, for sure! I've fallen hard off the healthy work-lunch bandwagon, but already bought supplies to start again next week. will be a big 'ol tub of raw veg that I keep in the work fridge for the week, along with some hard-eggs and nuts for protein, and red pepper hummus on the side for dipping.

lately it's been a lot of pho, pizza, burritos, and chinese. :uhoh2:

We all fall off that healthy bandwagon at times ! That's one thing I have never tried, Hummus, no idea what it tastes like.

I hated it for years. Still don't overly care for a lot of it, but I really like the red pepper or spicy flavors. just makes eating a huge stick of celery a bit more tolerable. :icon_mrgreen:

hummus is tricky though, as like with nuts, it's very easy to accidentally eat a huge amount of calories.

See now to make eating celery a bit more tolerable, I would usually prefer to squidge some blue cheese along the stick :licklips:

Sausage rolls. Shortcrust pastry, pork and sage sausage meat. All with red onion in them, some with onion chutney, and some with wholegrain mustard.
Not quite as good as me nan used to make, but still lovely.

I concur.

Greggs sausage rolls are awesome.

Fuck that. Pink pulp from god knows what.

Proper sausage rolls are a thing of beauty.

Me nan used to make them with shortcrust, and I like 'em that way. Though yes, puff is more usual.

Gregg's sausage rolls taste metallic to me, but their steak and stilton rolls are immense.

here's a non-salad for ppb

A nice bit of pork (with onion & rosemary garnish) plus new potatoes, various veg & sage & onion stuffing & apple sauce.

Very palatable
