The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

Fetched a goat & cabbage curry earlier from the Indian in Pittsburgh. The hard part is gonna be not tucking into it before 5.30. Smells gorgeous :licklips:

I had Indian Tikka Masala today,I do not know what sets it apart from ordinary Tikka Masala.

So don't ask!

Spicy, hot, red lentil curry. Naan bread for mopping up.

It smells and tastes much better than it sounds !

It sounds lovely to me - tonight I've got a so called Scorching Hot Chicken Vindaloo with Naan bread for mopping up (though a cheap Takeaway Indian Atomic Chicken curry from Iceland is much hotter (spicier))!!

Enjoy, the mopping up part is sometimes the best bit :) .Like when I have Lamp chops, I only have one chop and small amount of mash so that I have room for a piece of bread at the end to mop up the last of the gravy and mint sauce and spread my remaining mustard all over it. I love that bit more than me chop :)

Mustard with minted lamb?!

I wouldn't dream of having it without Del. Mind you I also like mustard with pork, sausages and on shepherds pie . Mind you, I also like mint sauce on pork , sausages and on me shepherds pie.

Is it the real thing though (English makes your eyes water sort) :licklips:

It's bostin with a bit of Daddies sauce on. I'm not quite in the same league as Bear when it comes to weird food combinations!

See now if I was going to put sauce on mine, first option would be mint sauce, next it would be ketchup. Daddies sauce only belongs on a cheese sandwich !

No, no, no...my Shepherd's Pie has to be covered in lashings of brown sauce.

Most sensible thing you've ever posted. Presuming, of course, that you're referring to HP sauce and not that watery equivalent for girls, Daddies.
