I wasn't being entirely serious. You have to be pretty sensitive to be bothered by the body of a dead fish if you're eating it, not summat I've been accused of.

Bought a slow cooker, don’t know why I didn’t get one before. Did a chicken and chorizo stew yesterday with harissa, red onion, garlic, mushrooms and red wine. Gorgeous.

Got an Irish beef joint in there at the moment with onions, carrots, parsnips and red wine (bit of a theme there) and will serve it with mash and broccoli. Just right at this time of year.
