The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

rather than very finely sliced apple?

*makes a note to try for Christmas table*

I love a really mature cheddar, a nice weepy brie, a crumbly rocquefort. Cheese is fucking ace.

And Port and Stilton is a marriage.

Cheddar has to have a decent 'bite' to it to be worthwhile.

Can't beat a bit of Dorset Blue Vinney on fresh crusty bread though.

There's an annual Cheese Fair near here where you can try any number of cheeses to your hearts content. If you are a cheese lover its a superb day out

On a side note, did you know that if you drink too much vinegar it makes your wee really hurt :(

I tend not to drink vinegar...

:drink2:

I don't have ketchup with salad cream! That sounds disgusting.

Ketchup with curry sauce, yes.

Isn't ketchup and salad cream similar to the base for a thousand island dressing?

I know I take the piss out of some of Bear's condiment habits but I love salad cream. I tend to have it on actual salad though rather than random weird things.

In discussion with someone who I know has weird eating combo's, a favourite of theirs is cheese & banana sandwiches.
Apparently they also used to eat marmalade sandwiches with brown sauce on :barf_smiley:

This thread is MAD! ;)

TAXI!

No Sunday dinner today, just a Sloppy Joe.

What is that? It's a burger isn't it?

I thought it was minced meat and sauce in some sort of chilli consistency served in a bun.

Marks correct, mince in a tomatoey sauce on a bun, that requires wearing a bib, and licking splashes from off your elbows after the last bite.

I had lamb shank, roast potatoes, cabbage, peas carrotts mince sauce and gravy last night, it was so lovely i ate myself to a stand still, but managed to finish it all off in a late breakfast attack this morning.

Pork chops with home made chips us tonight, might opt for a sneaky fried egg on the side!

This is getting insane :icon_lol:

Extra vinegar to salad cream, as if it doesn't taste enough of vinegar.

Sooze, try it with lemon juice instead of vinegar and add some black pepper, It's also brilliant if you swop salad cream for Hellmans mayionaisse.
