The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

Going to steam some fish (just using cheap as chips Basa tonight) fillets in butter and lemon juice, bit of dill, garlic, tiny bit of chilli. Then I will take the steaming liquid and add a bucket load more butter to make a nice sauce on the hob. Might slice some mushrooms very thin and add them to the sauce. Tatties and peas and dinner is served. Bit of an experiment, but I am quite hopeful for it.

It sounds very nice paddy. Making me feel hungry...

Chicken & mushroom pie and criss cross chips.

What kind of sausage are you dressing your egg with?

And tonight we will be mostly eating spag bol, but yesterday made a rather nice chicken tikka naan pizza!

Bit of a let down UKY, the sausage was from a shop downtown that advertised ' Real English Bangers '

They ay nothing like real English Bangers.

Awe that sucks...however we have managed to source "Proper British bangers" here in Chattanooga, bit pricey but very well worth it! :)

I had a rather good beef rendang. Free meal tomorrow!

Had a nice nightcap tonight. Warm milk with honey and cinnamon. Never tried it before as I'm not a big milk drinker, but it was very relaxing.

It is relaxing and helps to sleep if im not feeling too good. Although I do swap the cinammon for a tot of brandy :)

Warm milk and honey is just 'urggghhhhh'. As we see on other threads 'one man's meat ......... '

It has to either Jersey or Guernsey full fat to be even considered.
