The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

Cool. :) I did not have fluffy hair, I went to see the hair lady and she said: I can cut it, I can colour it but there's no way you'll ever have fluffy hair.

I've always had boobs. :) Not very big mind.

I shouldn't worry about having big fluffy hair, you have a big fluffy sense of humour which more than makes up for it. Anyway, im off to feed the goat, then decide whats for dinner tonught :)

Fluffy humour will have to do now that my hair is gray and short. :) You have a goat?? That's awesome. ;) I take it he or she is not on the menu tonught then.

Since when did Sue have a goat?!

Are we talking full size goat or pygmy goat?

Hopefully it will all be revealed in the next installment, my money's on full size and that she's wearing a German outfit when she's feeding the poor thing.

If it's not a pygmy goat then I've no interest in pursuing this conversation any further to be honest.

Not my goat. It's a neighbours, who also keeps chickens too. Which is nice cos I get to have all the eggs while they are away :). In return, I feed and look after them. Back to the goat. Her name is Lucille, cute little thing, playful, mischievous, comes when you talk to her but she really stinks ( hope this isnt taking you back to the 70's!)

Peppers & mushroom Omelette's and salad for tonight :)

:icon_lol: Sorry, no goat stuff happening to me in the 70s so I'm still in 2016 and safe!

Sounds about right in hot weather, I haven't decided yet. I have no goat to talk to you see. :)

What about the German outfit?? I got money on that. :sneaky:

My wife's doing BBQ chicken wings & ribs for my birthday dinner tonight. Her homemade BBQ sauce is amazing so I am very much looking forward to it.

It was her birthday on Saturday so we went out for a joint birthday lunch on Sunday. We went to Rub in Birmingham and I can highly recommend it. You may want to avoid their 'Epic' meals though unless you're really hungry...

Prawns and shrimps both have 5 pairs of legs, prawns have the front 3 pairs equipped with pincers where shrimps only the front two pairs. Also prawn legs are all the same length the front pair or two pairs on shrimps are longer than the rest. However the creatures that Australians call prawns are called shrimps in the US!

Going for a salmon and spinach curry tonight - never made it before, sounded interesting so I'll give it a whirl.

See, what do I know!

Sounds nice Langers, but doesn't the salmon all break up into little bits??

Add it at the very last minute. When I do any fish/seafood curry I get the sauce to temperature and then add the fish/seafood. I then turn off the heat and let the sauce cook the rest.

I don't think ive ever made a fish curry. Prawn & King Prawn yes, but not actual proper fish. Just generally stick to either chicken, goat, beef, or prawn. What fish do you usually use?
