The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

It's just pastry and jam. You don't like that?

As others have said, its batter not a pastry. I put beef dripping in my yorkshire pudding batter mix, so the thought of putting jam on it seems wrong. Im sure it goes well if batter is just made with flour, eggs and milk. Just something i've never thought to have as a dessert.

It may be batter but it tastes just like a pastry, even if you make it with fat/dripping. Trust me it works. It's not just some weird combination, I know plenty of people who have tried it.

I suppose a Yorkshire is not too far removed from a pancake. I'd rather just have a pancake though instead of cold yorkies and jam!

When they're sitting there as leftovers though you just have them instead.

I already make four mahoosive yorkies for a roast with two people eating. And there are never any left.

I've had yorkies with golden syrup. Damn tasty.

It is not uncommon for yorkshire puddings with jam to be consumed as a pudding. It is very uncouth though.

I am about to cook us a delicious curry. Well that is not strictly true, we are off to the pub for curry night...

Honey pecan pork chops, baked sweet potatoes and broccoli.

You know sometimes when you've been good for weeks and weeks and there just comes a point when you just want to be bad, well im at that point ( I hate all people who can eat and eat all kinds of shit and still look like sticks)

Tonight I'm having a Mixed Grill, a big fuck off one.
