I always put a good slug of apple sauce into pork gravy as the thickener, and then offer the rest of the apple sauce as a side. Om nom nom.

Just finished a very nice chicken chasseur - now relaxing with the World Indoor Bowls men's singles finals (just wonder why the woods don't get that close when I play )

To mark a wood which has touched the jack in play - only important if the jack & wood goes into the ditch during that end as only woods that have touched are still live (any wood that goes in the ditch without touching the jack are dead and are removed)

Aye. It's chalk they spray. One dot either side of the bowl to indicate a "toucher".
