Just that gravy is meant to be poured, not ' sprinkled ' surely.

Bear I might give it a try. Just to see what you are on about. Just out of curiosity.
 
Baked beans with steak only ok if having it for breakfast.

Gravy with steak never ok.
 
Bearnaise sauce with steak. Cos I is posh like.
 
Ok, I might swap the baked beans for peas, but gravy on onion rings is just wrong. Why not just put extra Oxo in the gravy if its a stronger kick you want. Surely it goes all blobby ?
No it just sits on top and melts slightly into it and you get bits with a real kick.
 
Bearnaise sauce is the best with a steak
 
I prefer good old English Mustard. #keepitsimple
 
I like a pepper sauce if I'm eating it in a restaurant.

I've also gone from medium-rare down to rare. Though the last one I had came almost blue!
 
As a non-red meat eater, I worry about all these non-gravy enthusiasts. Love gravy me.
 
I love gravy (though it has to be thick), but not on a steak.
 
Well, it was bloody lovely . Don't think i've ever eaten that much meat at one sitting. Bostin. Steak cut like butter and some blood leakage when cut. Stuck with beans not peas.

Machin is right about the mustard and steak.

If I was going to have steak and mash and veg, then I would always opt for pepper sauce, never gravy.

Billy, steak is just something that I would never associate with breakfast.

Chicken Chow Mein tonight for me. Done in the Actifrier which I went mad for but hardly ever use.
 
Chicken breast in light peppercorn sauce for me later so the mrs says. Complimented by a sweet potato, carrots, brocolli and cabbage!
