The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

I have a fresh crusty loaf from the bakers today, chips, and a rather large (Dianna Dors style) chicken fillet, so it's hot chicken sandwiches and a chip butty for me tonight, can't wait

Spicy Thai peanut chicken curry. Stir fried noodles.

Gonna starve meself today so I can go out with a bang tonight.

Big juicy steak, fries, onion rings, fried tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, egg.

Baked beans with steak?!!

P.S. Don't forget the gravy! And Oxo...

Let the arguments commence!

Baked beans go with steak, gravy doesn't.

Mustard by the steak. Blob of tomato by the fries and onion rings. Blob of brown by the tomatoes, beans and egg.

I've never had baked beans with steak but as she's having steak, eggs & chips then I guess baked beans would work. I wouldn't be putting gravy anywhere near it. Ketchup all the way.

Steak, chips, onion rings, mushrooms, fried onions on top of the steak, garden peas. Gravy over the lot, half an Oxo sprinkled over to melt into the gravy and give a nice strong kick. Salt and vinegar on the chips, plenty of pepper on the steak.

Ok, I might swap the baked beans for peas, but gravy on onion rings is just wrong. Why not just put extra Oxo in the gravy if its a stronger kick you want. Surely it goes all blobby ?

First and third sentences are fine - second one just no!
