The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

Why? I've never had it or even heard of it before unless it's that stuff from Sheffield. Please don't assume because I abide in Yorkshire that I then automatically betray my Midland roots.

Yep, its that stuff from Sheffield :)

No it doesn't. Sultanas remind me of those God awful Vesta concoctions.

Garlicky Spaghetti Bol, garlic bread, and bottle of plonk.

Probably gonna stink tomorrow for my morning appointment, but so what.

As it's supposed to be National Curry Week, I'm doing a lamb passanda for tomorrow night. Doing the marinade tonight in readiness. The recipe sounds amazing. Nom nom.

Sounds ace. I'm also going Thai tonight, making myself a beef massaman curry. Got a few bottles of Partizan - Lemongrass Saison to go with it which is supposed to be awesome with a Thai curry.

Massaman is my favourite. Out of Indian, Chinese and Thai, i'd say Thai food is my fav at the moment. Enjoy :)

I'm a bit obsessed with Thai food at the moment. Massaman curry is ace.

Last night I had a chicken, bacon & avacado sandwich (well it was more like a rustic roll) and it was delicious. Weirdly, that's the first time I've ever had that combo. Got Beef Bourguignon tonight.

I am too tbh. Love the flavours of Thai. Massaman is bloody lovely.

Bacon and cucumber is nice too.

I swear that you and Bear use some sort of 'ingredients randomiser', stick anything into it and post the results to get some sort of reaction.

:icon_lol: No I don't. If you have never tried bacon covered in chocolate then you really should. The salty and the sweet goes together perfectly. The bacon has to be really crisp, and actually come to think of it American bacon would work better than the stuff over there.

As for bacon and cucumber with salad cream, on a salad with chopped cucumber and crispy bacon bits drizzled with salad cream, its lovely.
