The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

Chicken breasts stuffed with cheese and spinach.

Last Friday it was nearly my left hand that was for dinner!
Cutting a swede with a carving knife and it suddenly went through, bounced back up off the wooden chopping board and sliced a two inch long cut in the palm of my hand. Two internal dissolving stitches and four external!

Fish, chips and mushy pays tonight.

With salad cream.

My favourite.

Lots of vinegar on the fish, ketchup on the chips, HP on the mushy peas, smidgen of salad cream on a piece of bread n butter.

Good god. I like condiments but I don't mix them on the plate!

Only time I do it is if I cut a bacon sarnie in half. Half ketchup, half brown.

Why are you all having salad cream with fish & chips...and why is PPB having 3 different sauces with one meal???

It's only the lunatic fringe that are doing that.

Salad cream is a must with fish and chips. I don't have anything else with it.

What can I say, I like me condiments! Always eat me fish first, next is the chips and pays, then usually leave a few chips to make a butty then leave the last two bites to mop all the sauces left on the plate. By the time i've finished you'd never know i'd had any sauces :icon_lol:

Fish Chips, normal peas (not mushy as they satan's snot). Tommy sauce for the chips. Tartare sauce for the fish. Salt and vinegar on the chips. Squeeze of lemon juice on the fish.

When Bear is questioning your condiment choice you know you have issues!

Sounds reasonable :)

I have just read on a jar of Tartar sauce in my fridge that it is ' perfect for fish, seafood and poultry '

I never knew it goes with poultry?

Today is ' World Vegetarian Day '. So it's a lamb cutlet, lambs liver,a sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms, eggs (gorra pop out for) and a few fries for me.

Salad cream with Fish & Chips is batshit mental. Tartare, ketchup, curry or gravy are the only acceptable options - and I know I'll get pelters for the latter.

I'd logged out but logged back in for this one!! If we're talking batshit mental then gravy on fish is up there.

Here, have a ((((( pelter))))))

Also curry sauce with anything other than chips is the preserve of Welsh people.

Gravy on fish? GRAVY??? I would normally defend my kebab loving friend when it comes to culinary tastes but that is indefensible.
