Watched the season finale of Spartacus last night. Entertainingly gruesome! Especially the final gladiatorial battle culminating in one of them having his face split open lengthways...

Spartacus is bloody awesome. Literally.

They notched up the porn a fair bit from the last series too. Quite filthy in places. In HD, it was fucking great.

Finished watching Boardwalk Empire, the last episode is a bit of a let down but it sets the second season up perfectly. Loving the reference to Rothstein's scandal regarding the World Series.

Can highly recommend 'em. Fantastic stuff. Brutal though, if you hadn't already guessed from the series so far!

I read the books many moons ago, so was a little worried about how it'd translate to the screen, but man, Tyrion is played so perfectly. Amazing actor. Manages to steal most scenes!

Also, started Treme season 2 now. Really love being back in New Orleans! My flatmate and I were devastated by a certain thing at the end of season 1 though.

Yeah, Tyrion is absolutely brilliant - easily my favourite character, though Daenerys is a bit cool. I like how she's 'getting involved' with her new duties with the Dothraki. She's also pretty fit.

If you like Peter Dinklage (Tyrion) then definitely check out the film The Station Agent. He's excellent in that as well.
