Peripheral, Expanse, Lovecraft are all excellent. Halt and Catch Fire if you haven't watched already.

Another vote for Dopesick on Disney+, Slow Horses on Apple and The Diplomat on Netflix.

Well what a show that was. Thought it'd be wank so only started it a couple of months back, caught up in about 3 weeks and was gutting to have to wait a week for each episode. Some of the football was naff but overall it was so enjoyable and wholesome

FWIW it seems like it's going to be cloying at first but it absolutely evens out as the first season rolls along. Tackles a few things that really surprised me, and does so with a fair amount of grace, IMO.

Not saying you need to go back, but there's one scene in particular from season 1 that spoke to me quite loudly that I think would hit you hard as well, mate. For those who have watched, it involves Ted taking a moment to himself outside the pub.

Watched the first couple of Sharp Objects (as expected totally ignored the iPad with suggested programmes). It's really good.
