The Goggle Box Thread

Any box sets suggestions from Netflix/Amazon/Disney/Apple? Got some long flights coming up and need something downloadable to watch

Seems like not banshee if there's lot of shagging :)
 
BBC rather than any of the above but all three series of Guilt on iPlayer would be an excellent binge if you haven't watched it.
 
I've avoided that as I was confusing it with some annoying drama about posh lawyers, totally got the wrong show so that looks good and is going on the ipad.
 
Are you thinking of The Split there?

That wasn't bad but a couple of the characters (oddly, neither of them lawyers) were indeed incredibly annoying and almost pushed it into bin territory. Stephen Mangan and Nicola Walker just about carried it.

Last two we've watched are Kaleidoscope and The Watcher. Neither brilliant, but entertaining enough to stick with.

Citadel on Prime is really good, quality production like Peripheral. Quite short though at six episodes. I’ll have to go through my watchlist for you.

Oh and Beef on Netflix is good in a quirky kind of way.

Fauda is a good shout, been meaning to watch that for a long time.
 
Can't remember if I'd mentioned it on here before, but Colin From Accounts is really fucking funny. Just a standard sitcom that focuses on being piss funny rather than taking up an elevated social position or trying to tell some grandiose morality tale, blah blah blah.

Yeah I quite liked it.
 
I see they're about to start filming a new series of Gladiator. We used to enjoy it back in the day, cheesy but fun Saturday night family entertainment, hopefully they won't fuck it up.
Mark Clattenburg is the ref!

Fauda is ace. But seriously watch Hit and Run as well, Lior Raz is in it out of Fauda and it really is brilliant. Definitely on my rewatch list.
 
@Tredman Snabba Cash is really good and Ganglands is fucking excellent. Highly recommend both.

Deadwind. Did I mention Deadwind? I’m sure I mentioned Deadwind.
