Just watched the first episode, very good. An unusual role for Hugh Bonneville but he pulls it off!
 
Carnival Row finally back for season 2 on Amazon Prime. Really is quite good...
 
Ganglands season 2 on Netflix, explosive start and easily as good as season 1.

Yeah, he's superb in it.

Talking of different roles for Hugh, have you seen I Came By? Plays a proper baddy in that.
 
Graham Greene who played Leonard and Elaine Miles who played Marilyn in the brilliant and vastly under appreciated Northern Exposure with wonderful cameo appearances in the latest episode of The Last of Us.

Northern Exposure isn't available on any streaming service anywhere. Such a shame, one of the best shows of the 90s.

I still have them all on DVD. One of my favourite shows back in the day.

I have the DVD box set too. It was just so good. So quirky and chilled, I'm not sure it would ever get made today.
 
I’m really enjoying the gold but there are anachronisms. The robbery was November 1983 and the flying squad sierra is a B plate which wasn’t available until August 1984. Plus around the time of Noyes indictment in very early 1985 there is a c plate car in view which was August 1985.
 
I've only seen episode 1 so far, but I have an issue with Noye being shown as something of a working class hero, given what we know about him.
 
Watching the last of us with one of my twins and he’s just asked what a Walkman is, christ I’m old.

A student at the school I work at told me mp3s were old fashioned, mate....
 
After a recent home game a new friend was shocked by my getting my mp3 player out to listen to on my walk.
