The Goggle Box Thread

Just finished the second series of The Man in The High Castle - bloody brilliant TV, I really liked the first series, but second is fantastic.

That's my next binge watch after Halt and Catch Fire as I thought The man in the High Castle was really good.

Sherlock was back on form tonight.

Last week was okay. The 2015 Christmas special was appalling. Apart from that it has been consistently brilliant.

Must admit I am intrigued about next week being called "The Final Problem". If you know the books the Final Problem was the story with Moriarty when they both fall from Reichembach waterfall and Sherlock is presumed dead. All sounds good, but that was the story from the final episode of series two, so I really want to know why they have gone with the title of a book that they have already covered.

I would say it is because they are having a circular plot line with the other Holmes sibling and that person will be painted as the new villain and it will bring together the whole 'Miss me' plotline. Quite clever I would think.

I've enjoyed all of the Sherlock episodes even the 2015 special, which wasn't as good as the others, but then I'm a simple soul.

I enjoyed last night's. All very silly but good fun. I like Toby Jones as the creepy Savile-esque character.

Completely different - we watched the first series of Fleabag over the weekend on the i-player. Filthy, dark and very funny. Not one to watch with your mum or children.

Watched the first episode of Taboo on Saturday. Excellent.
Stars Tom Hardy and Jonathan Price.

A few of the hyped recent BBC dramas have been rather underwhelming, but this was an intriguing opener.

Totally caught up with iZombie, fucking brilliant stuff.

Thought I'd give Peep Show a go earlier. Watched the first episode. Think I chuckled twice. It's not really that funny yet but I'm willing to give it a bit more yet.

Peep Show is awesome but I thought the first series was a bit slow.

My favourite is the one on the canal boat.

Caught up with Fleabag on Iplayer. Smart, funny, filthy but comes with pathos and depth. If you aren't easily offended I'd highly recommend it.

'No Offence' - decent show even if I have no real idea what they are saying half of the time

Doubt that this reflects modern day policing that much though.

Tried to start watching Narcos but kept falling asleep. Looks good though.

:icon_lol:

More just like absolutely fucking knackered.
