Watching Thor on BBC1, why is the bloke who plays Thor talking like Maximus from Gladiator!

Watched the first couple of episodes of Stranger Things last night. Excellent. Really good Spielbergian fun. And always nice to see Winona Ryder.

Latest episode of Mr Robot. Top fucking notch.

Loving The Class of 92, still out of their league.

Been watching Stranger Things. Marvellous piece of TV, I've not been engrossed in a show like this for a fair while. A shame there are only 8 episodes!

Series Two in the new year, I believe.

Haven't trawled through all the posts, but anybody watched Outcast (on Fox) - about a Bloke who has a penchant for sorting out the possessed - Philip Glenister is in it - can't wait for Season 2 - quite compelling viewing.

No, I forgot all about it to be honest. Do want to watch it though, I'll have to see if I can get hold of it.

Managed to get hold of Stranger Things yesterday which was a bonus.

Watched the first three or four of Outcast, then forgot about it, have them recorded but cannot get the enthusiasm to watch them !

By the way, anybody watch Guy Martin yesterday ?

Just watched the first couple of episodes of the UK version of Mad Dogs from 2010. A far-fetched premise, but looks as though it could get interesting.

I'm the same with Preacher!

Excellent right to the very end.

Watched a couple of episodes of Ash vs Evil Dead the other day. Daft, gore porn. I loved it!

Going to start watching Stranger Things in a bit.

Halt and Catch Fire is a great series, another quality AMC production. Based in the early 80s, a maverick salesman goes AWOL from IBM and turns up a year later at a small technology firm and, after reading one of his articles, convinces one of its employees to backwards engineer an IBM PC to learn how to build a better machine at a cheaper price point. Recruiting a tearaway, unpredictable twenty-something punk to write the BIOS they nearly bring the company to its knees early on. It's a lot more interesting than it sounds and is very character driven, very well acted and is strangely addictive. Plenty of ups and downs and twists and turns.
