I was going to post that, but then didn't think it deserved further attention. There's no fact in that Tweet, just his subjective opinion he's gaslighting people into believing
If you look closely at Everton FC's arse end....you may spot Henry Winters feet hanging out.
He’s actually a Liverpool fan so he can just palm this off as “I can’t be bias towards Everton” it’s very transparent and easy to see what he’s really doing scoring browny points with Everton fans and ex players who work in the media. That sort of sycophancy may grease wheels for him at the club tbf (I know nothing of his actual work tbc).
He’s a Liverpool fan from the East Midlands so very much sees football through phoney fan prism.
I’ll rephrase super 6 prismFeels harsh.
He's from London, went to Westminster school. He’s actually a Liverpool fan so he can just palm this off as “I can’t be bias towards Everton” it’s very transparent and easy to see what he’s really doing scoring browny points with Everton fans and ex players who work in the media.

I'd challenge the use of "arbitrarily picking" here. Don't feel we think about it that way when we're kids. Surely that can't be so different in the UK?Anyone arbitrarily picking a team because they're good when there are loads of local ones to pick from deserves scorn.
Very few areas of England where it's acceptable to just pick anyone. Cornwall or bits of Cumbria I suppose.
That’s even worse then as DW you’re entitled to support who you want absolutely. Picking teams because they’re the best I’ll very much struggle to take you seriously as a genuine fan. I know @Alan is a fan from far away but I’m sure his reasons for picking us were nothing to do with us being great. He's from London, went to Westminster school.

Growing up in the 80s, kids picked Liverpool because they were the best team by milesI'd challenge the use of "arbitrarily picking" here. Don't feel we think about it that way when we're kids. Surely that can't be so different in the UK?
I think that's exactly how a lot of kids pick their teams growing up. Even at a young age it shows a weakness in character to do this in my opinion.Don't feel we think about it that way when we're kids.
Chelsea are the 00s versionGrowing up in the 80s, kids picked Liverpool because they were the best team by miles
Same happened in the 90s with Man Utd
If you live in the West Midlands you have so many choices, just picking a good team from miles away because you like winning is nonsense.
