There's going to be cancellations for some some time yet aren't there? I guess it all depends on how the virus progresses, if indeed symptoms are mild, then maybe we'll just try and get on with life and treat it like 'ordinary flu' otherwise we could see weeks and weeks of games called off.
Well as far as I know there’s no further cancellations for tomorrow. Then by the next round of fixtures the picture (national data wise) should be a lot clearer. Then hopefully we’re in a postion to apply a bit of common sense and get back to some form of normal. I mean if triple vaccinated players and/or recently been infected still need to test then that just makes a mockery of the situation and proves you can’t beat it.

Newcastle get 3 injuries and a suspension and get the game cancelled. Doesn’t appear to be any new Covid cases.

Since this meeting where it appeared they were going to make everyone play regardless it seems pretty easy to get your game called off.

£145m annual loss at Chelsea. They now owe Foldstam (ie Abramovic) a cool billion.

Vardy out for a month. Daka injured and Iheanacho off to AFCON. Leaves Leicester with basically Lookman so good job he got his eye in!

First match against Norwich off. Postponement on the Norwich side though

And Southampton vs Newcastle on Sunday too now

Southampton taken over. £100m.

Same size ground as us, won't go down this season same as us, no external debt that I know of (same as us), been in the PL longer than us.

Might focus Fosun a little bit as to our actual worth if we just drift along.

What did Fosun pay Morgan? Was that ever made public?

Cheers, Johnny.

It's what he put in as an investment (I'm sure he got paid as Chairman too).

Fosun would want their money out as a minimum, which at the moment stands at £130m.

Yep, still seems cheap though, given Newcastle went for £305m. I'd expect them to be more, but not over 50% more

Thought sir Jack wanted a pound but thought that wouldn't look great in a frame, so agreed £10 because it looked better, and got Morgan to agree to spend on the upgrades of the stadium and training ground?
Or have I got that massively wrong, happy to be put right

Morgan had to agree to invest £30m minimum (which he did).

Plus he then put in another bit, presumably £15m, so only got back what he put in? As I recall, but happy to be corrected.
(Albeit he still made money from Redrow building the new training facilities and North Bank).

Yeah, he didn't personally make a straight profit from purchase/investment to sale. He made a lot of mistakes post-2010, but I couldn't fault his heart being in the right place. Ultimately he didn't have the money to push us on from where we got to under Mick, and didn't have the football knowledge (or people around him with that knowledge) to make up for it.

Could have punted us on to just anyone but didn't.
