Half of Old Trafford isn't fit for purpose. The away end for example, the steps up the gangways are horrendous, the leg room is akin to the Steve Bull stand.Article just posted “old Trafford the biggest English stadium outside Wembley, Villa Park, Stadium of light and Tottenham stadium have been dropped from the list”

I make it nine with the Aviva to add to it.Your list adds to 12 stadiums
It's in very poor condition. It hosted the Champions League final on merit in 2003...but that's 20 years ago and it's been left to decline in all that time.Half of Old Trafford isn't fit for purpose. Agreed. I was in the Sir Matt Busby stand for the RL World Cup final. My knees were under my chin.Half of Old Trafford isn't fit for purpose. The away end for example, the steps up the gangways are horrendous, the leg room is akin to the Steve Bull stand.

The freaking Euros can’t fill a 20,000 capacity stadium?Croke Park is way too big to be hosting group matches , which is all it would be doing . A crowd of 20,000 would be lost there . It's facilities mind you are top notch .
He means the capacity is maybe 80,000 so 20,000ish for a group game, which is a reasonable estimate I'd say, would look lost in a stadium that size. The freaking Euros can’t fill a 20,000 capacity stadium?
It's not top notch anymore, 25-30 years old so needs a bit of sprucing up, added to that, cost of putting seating on the hill and rent to GAA would eat a big bite into whatever money FAI were going to get out of it. Plus only 1 stadium in Dublin was going to be used so may as well use the one they own.Croke Park is way too big to be hosting group matches , which is all it would be doing . what a pathetic agreement this is. no betting sponsor on the front of shirts.Premier League clubs have voted in favour of banning Betting Companies as a main sponsor (sleeve sponsors will be ok)
Due to current deals in place, it will take 3 years for clubs to fully align with the ban
18 clubs voted in favour, 2 abstained.
No - Croke Park , if it had been chosen , would only get group matches . Croke Park can hold 82,000 . How many will you get for a Group match ? 25k max I would say .The freaking Euros can’t fill a 20,000 capacity stadium?
