I can't see the EFL turning down the amount of money they'd bring in. Kills the PL stone dead too, big 6 can negotiate with the EFL and get an even bigger cut of TV money.

What I will say though is last year I started going down to watch my local tier 7 team Basford and I fucking love it down there and will more than likely just continue watching at that kind of level.

Minimal intervention, can stand at the side of the pitch and have a beer whilst you watch and it just feels a bit more...honest? If that is the right word.

225 CL games each season in a 36 team league with 4 places available for clubs with a good, historical, coefficient. I.e you finish 12th but you have a good history so we'll pop you in over a "minnow" who finished higher in the respective league

It’d be fucking magic. Let them go; restructure English football so there’s salary caps, limits on ticket costs, and just bring the game back. I don’t care about the ‘quality of the product’, as long as there’s integrity and competition.
