The body representing air charter companies has called on aviation regulators to investigate the series of flights leading up to the plane crash which killed footballer Emiliano Sala.

The Air Charter Association (Baca) has concerns about the nature of the schedule of flights arranged by agents behind the multi-million pound transfer deal to bring Sala to Cardiff City from French side Nantes.

It wants the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) - which has an enforcement division - to investigate.
explains a lot about why mckay has been trying to get his excuses in early. initially i thought it was due to his ban, but this is getting murkier.

Bolton Wanderers' High Court hearing over an unpaid tax bill of £1.2m has been adjourned until 3 April.

The Championship club, who are up for sale, received a winding-up petition from HM Revenue & Customs in February.

However, it is understood owner Ken Anderson has agreed terms with a buyer who is willing to pay off their debts.

On Tuesday, Bolton confirmed takeover talks with an interested party, believed to be the Football Ventures consortium, had ended.

Doesn't rugby do that? It's a brilliant idea.

Danny Taylor has done some great work on this story.

There were always rumours about Crewe/Gradi back in the 90s (and this is growing up nowhere near that area).

My mate played for their academy all through that era. Never asked him if anything happened, but he's a little unusual.

I grew up around Crewe in the late seventies (well Sandbach anyway). Went to a few games as a kid. I always therefore had a bit of a "let's see how they are doing in the table" sort of affiliation, and wanted them to do well. With all this stuff, I find it impossible to keep that feeling, and it is personally sad for me. The club reaps what it sows, but a bit of that seven year old me innocence about your local club feels like it has shrivelled and died.

There might be a reason he's a little unusual, might be worth just saying he can talk to you if he needs to

You never know

People have tried over the years. He's separated himself off and started a new life now. Very successful in what he does professionally, but not much of a personal life afaik

He is the master of bullshit. I presume his dog signed all those players
