Bolton have 24 hours to convince the Council they will have enough staff to safely cover the game or else their safety cert is pulled.

As their staff are unpaid the majority won't turn up for work and any external security will need to be paid in advance, inc the Police. So unlikely that will happen.

A load of media outlets reported yesterday that from next season if a penalty in game time is missed there will be no rebounds and the game would restart from a goal kick., Sky Sports spent hours discussing this all the way through their programs, inc the debate show late in the evening.

Turns out some people are very lazy and this is not the case. The IFAB did have their meeting yesterday to set out new rules such as no goal can be scored by an accidental hand ball and a player will be able to leave the pitch from any point when being subbed, so no full length of the pitch strolls in the 93rd min. A few other minor changes but nothing on the much reported penalty kick. This is because the idea was put forward last year and then back in November the IFAB rejected it.

I know some of the day to day staff who work at the club and they’re having missed payments on mortgages and direct debits because of this owner.

Aston Villa’s wages gone up to £73m from £61m.

Yet the club reduced its part time workforce by 252 and it full time by 22. All those who lost their jobs will be happy that the savings made on their wages was put to good use in paying Terry and Snodgrass.

EFL meeting today. The best thing on the agenda is the owner of Charlton demanding the EFL buy the club from him and then rent the stadium and training ground from him. Can see that one working out well for Roland Duchatelet

Blackpool will find out if they are getting a points deduction

Bolton game v Millwall good to go.

Coventry have to sort their ground issue today as well(I think) they either play at the Ricoh or within 6 miles of the city centre

Coventry have a bit longer as they have provided the EFL with enough to suggest they are close to agreeing a deal with Wasps to use the Ricoh

Oh right, didn't see that, their owners dropping the court case then?

Have the EFL bought Charlton Athletic yet? :spaz: :icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_lol:

Their owner. :zytrafumay:

A Man Utd fan stabbed by a Taxi driver in Paris! Apparently he took offence to the songs being sung by his passengers. Just kick em out mate! The fan is alive but having emergency surgery.

Chelsea have been given leave to appeal their transfer ban but FIFA have said the ban stays in place until the appeal is heard. Obviously done to prevent the Barcelona "appeal and sign half a team before the shit hits" gambit, which is fair enough, but a little consistency would be good from FIFA here.

This is how it should be. They have been found guilty and should face the consequences. If an appeal finds otherwise, then... shit. They have been found guilty using the current investigative legislature so should face the relevant sanctions.

I agree. But the Spanish giants were treated differently for the same offence. FIFA need to justify that.

15,000 home fans expected at Bloomfield Road for the first Blackpool home game since the Oystons have been removed

The "fan" who attacked Grealish has been jailed for 14 weeks.
