Jose Mourinho has suggested the Prem take a page from the NFL and play a few games in the United States each season.

It'd almost certainly have to be the Big 6 doing it, sacrificing a home tie.

As with the NFL I like the idea of it but cutting out a home game is really cringey.

Much more likely to play in the Far East if they were to do it.

Won't happen, Scudamore has already said all a club's home fixtures must be played at one single venue after Spurs mooted the idea of splitting their games between MK and Wembley while WHL is out of service.

How long before people call out Mourinho for being sexist?

He's pushing things a bit with that comment but it's not exactly incriminating, it's more of a fat joke than a "women should fix our food" joke.

Still got more of an issue with Deano's wifey comments than Mou's.

Yeah, that's not intended to be a "woman's place" comment, he's just calling a fat fraud a fat fraud.

I'm still staggered that Benitez has got the Real Madrid gig. He will be a disaster there. Sacked by Christmas.

Shite football, pisses everyone off, failed in two of his last three jobs, I just don't get it.

Benitez wife is a big a tool as he is, Mourinho has destroyed her with his comeback. He's right that Benitez completely ballsed up Inter.

Yeah im with most of you..benitez wont last that long at Real

I did this bet last season and it's available again this season so thought I'd recommend it.

PaddyPower are doing a good top scorer bet for the Premier League. Bet £20 either to win or £10 each way (1/4 odds - 1,2,3,4!!). Every time they score a league goal you get a £2 free bet. So if a player scores 20 goals then you get £40 in free bets over the season. IIRC from last season these can be used on any sport you like.

Almost too good to be true as you make your money back on free bets even if you don't win. Offering the top four places seems crazy to me. If you stick £10 e/w on all of Aguero (3/1), Costa (11/2) and Rooney (11/1) then they are almost guaranteed to finish in the top four places. Even at 1/4 odds you'll likely make money if you have all three, and assuming one of them wins then it's an easy profit.

Rooney at 11/1 is a pretty good price considering he'll be playing up front again this season and he rarely gets injured.

Last season's top four was:

Aguero - 26
Kane - 21
Costa - 20
Austin - 18

Rooney got 12 but played in midfield mostly. Every season he's played up front as a main striker for Utd he's scored 20+.

League goals only?

Don't think Rooney has got 20+ in the PL very often. Twice maybe.

Wolfsburg have taken the German Super Cup, beating Bayern 5-4 on pens after a 1-1 draw (in which Nicklas Bendtner scored an equalizer in the 89th).
