Injured players will be allowed 20 seconds of on field treatment. If they don't exceed that time they will not have to leave the pitch and wait until a break in play to return. More than 20 seconds then off they go.

Law changes for next season.

Denying a clear goal scoring opportunity in the penalty area will be a yellow card offence (Mark Harlsey was obviously years ahead of the game)

Refs can Red Card a player before a game but if that happens they can be replaced so the team starts with 11. (So pick your worst player, ask him to do a 2 footed challenge as they walk out on the oppositions star player, he gets crocked, your player is red carded and replaced with someone decent. Jobs a good ,un)

Alternatively - leave the crap player out of the squad, pick the good one, leave out the 2 footed challenge & don't rile the ref before he's got on the pitch & watching your team intensly from the off ;)

Kick-off - the ball can now be kicked in any direction, including backwards so no team-mates allowed to stand in opponents' half

Throw-ins: The ball must be thrown with BOTH hands and not thrown with one hand and 'guided' with the other'

As if they're going to enforce the throw in one. The number of foul throws that go unchallenged these days...

Players should be in their own half at kick off under the present laws, though as with foul throws, it is something that is not enforced as it should be.

A question.

In next seasons champions league, as champions of England will Leicester City be seeded, thus avoiding the likes of Bayern Munich and Barcelona in the group stages.

Yep. They changed the system for this season, win the league* and you're guaranteed to be in Pot One. Previously it was based on previous season's coefficient and as Leicester haven't been in Europe for 15 years or so they'd have been seeded very low down.

*Assuming your league is ranked high enough, obviously England is.

I think West Ham are about to play their last game at the Boleyn Ground. Just wish Sky Sports would give it a little more coverage so I can be sure

I still can't believe that haven't discussed my left foot volley from 20 yards out in a 7 -a-side tournament back in 2006...

Ha - I've just put something very similar on Facebook!

How have I not noticed this split league nonsense in the SPL before? It looks bizarre!

Mark Clattenberg will take charge of the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid on 28 May.

His assistants will be fellow Englishmen Simon Beck and Jake Collin.

Anyone know whether the Champions league final and the Europa cup final will be available free to air?

Yep, both on BT Showcase with it's 360p quality.
