Fellaini and Huth both charged by the FA following their handbags situation on Sunday. Three game bans possibly await them both.

Only a matter of time before this fucking nonsense wormed its way into football. I absolutely hate the way 'entertainment' is unnecessarily shoe horned into sporting events. The match itself should be all that's needed, why the extra OTT bullshit? Just get on with it FFS. It's one of the reasons I dislike the NFL so much (that and I find watching the actual sport itself worse than cricket).
An event to open a tournament like the World Cup or Olympics is rather different as that's a great opportunity to display and celebrate a bit of national identity/culture as the eyes of the world are on them for a few weeks but this is just money making bullshit that has jack all to do with football.
Dembele charged by the FA. Already told that the standard 3 game ban will not be sufficient due to the nature of the incident (on this one, for the FA to act the Officials have to say they didn't see the incident......have to ask how on earth the Assistant Ref can say that as he was right by the incident and was looking at it)
Chelsea & Spurs also charged for failing to control their players
Just seen that 'chinky' loving victim of an horrific leg breaking challenge taking the plaudits on the pitch at Blackpool as his team win 4-0 and return to the Championship.
I wonder what kind of ban the FA will be looking at?
6 game ban. Serves the dirty bastard right.
7 was the maximum according to SSN.

Cameroon and Dinamo Bucharesti midfielder Patrick Ekeng has died on the pitch today. He was 26 years old. Cause of death not yet confirmed, Romanian media reporting he had a heart attack.
Awful. I still remember the shock of seeing Marc Vivienne Foe die on the pitch, watching it live I suddenly realised this was no act, and then seeing it begin to circulate on the media minutes later.
Ipswich midfielder Jonathan Douglas, who was involved in the incident with left Thorne injured, had earlier posted a message on social media wishing the Derby man a "speedy recovery".
Douglas added: "Absolutely gutted with what happened with George. In no way did I intend on hurting him - I was just trying to block his shot and help my team.
"I did apologise to him on the pitch and would like to put it on record again that I am sorry."
