He makes an absolute meal of it. No debate from me there. He really does.

However, there is contact. There is an excellent still where his legs and Ogbannas are seriously intertwined! Like I say, Vardy made that happen, not Angello Ogbonna. For me, the correct decision was no penalty, and get up and get on with the game, you big girl's blouse. This extra charge is just nonsensical over-blowing of the whole thing.

We'll have to disagree then. Vardy made the contact then Vardy threw himself to the ground. He tried to con the ref and rightly got booked. I can't see either of us changing our opinion here!

The extra charge is not nonsense. Please watch it again and look at Vardy's actions after being sent off. If that is acceptable behaviour on a football pitch, then we might as well give up.

Abusing the refs is something that I have said for years should be sorted.

Any players that fires a barrage of f bombs at the ref or even those that refuse to go to the ref when asked should be carded. If Vardy is being dealt with because the ref mentioned it then this needs to be the start of action being taken until the players get the message. However if Vardy is given an extra game ban and then in the next live game we see a player doing the same and nothing happens then it is a waste of time and will achieve nothing in the long term for the game

Did Reid need to go down under Morgan's challenge for the West Ham penalty? There were arms on him but it didn't look that forceful, wouldn't he also be guilty of diving even though there's contact and thus deserve a yellow card?

I don't know, I didn't see that one. Did Morgan make a challenge? The point about the Vardy one for me is that Ogbonna didn't really make a challenge, Vardy made it look like he did.

This may be the most important point. If the way Vardy is being dealt with is then dealt with consistently across the board, then brilliant. Abuse of referees will be gone from the game, and I salute that. If it isn't dealt with consistently, then a can of worms gets opened. Especially if the extended Vardy absence was to cost Leicester the title.

A lot less of a challenge than the one on Huth that the referee then ignored. Moss was inconsistent, and then evened it with another poor decision with the supposed challenge by Carroll on Schlupp. He had a nightmare forty five minutes. If he gives the Huth penalty, he surely gets praised for an even-handed ruling on hands on shirts and shoulders in the box. The way it is now he has made an awful rod for his own back.

To me by far the worst decision he made was the Leicester penalty.
Vardy probably did dive (same as he did for instance against Arsenal) he certainly enhanced the fall theatrically and therefore he was right to give him a yellow card.
He told Huth and Morgan to stop grappling at corners otherwise he would have to give a penalty, they carried on wrestling so he gave a penalty
The West Ham one on Huth was debatebale wasnt int he same league as Morgan doing his best Berra impression.

Moss did get caught up in the whole situation though, as Hackett said on the radio its not just players who can slow the game down a ref can as well in his game management (give someone a 30 second lecture even if they dont need it) it allows them to collect their thoughts and take the frenzy off the players and fans.

A good point I heard today and looking on here how passionate people are getting about it is due to the fact that this year is different, if it was 12 months ago and the team in Blue were Chelsea/Man City then there would have been a couple of posts about it but most people would have watched the game with a meh attitude.

This year as its the underdog story all the neutrals have skin in the game its like the bookie advert about watching a game is more interesting if you have a bet on,,well we all have a few quid metaphorically (fuck me I spealt that right first time) speaking on Leicester.

For me the challenge on Huth is more blatant. He has his hands round his neck ffs

Sorry but in my opinion he threw himself to the floor, and having already been cautioned it was not the wisest thing to do. Both yellows were correct so he can have no complaints.

Well this blatantly isn't true, the first yellow is a shocking decision. Vardy slides in front of Kouyate who then runs into Vardy as he's on the floor. The second one isn't a booking either because yes Vardy has initiated contact by getting his leg in front of Ogbonna (no rule saying he can't do that) but there is contact and while i don't think it was a foul if you are going to book players for going to ground easily when they have been touched you are going to be giving out a lot of yellow cards. In fact like Mark said Reid should have been booked when he earned his side a penalty as Morgan was apparently holding him back yet he fell forwards.

Morgan wasn't holding him or pushing him. He put his hands on him and Reid fell over. It was a dive.

Bang on. Referee was awful and although he got Leicester a point in the end he cost them all 3.

Really?

a) First Vardy yellow - bollocks
b) Second Vardy decision - bollocks
c) West Ham penalty - bollocks
d) Denied Leicester penalty - bollocks
e) Given Leicester penalty - bollocks

He was basically Collina.

Why did the referee get Leicester a point, but cost them all three? Sorry but I cannot understand that.

Well, shall I do it one potato?

He gave them 1 (one) point. This was they were on for 0 (zero) points, and he gave an appalling decision to get them level

However, they were winning and heading for 3 (three) points. And his decisions denied them those valuable points.

Putting one back doesn't make it right.
