Liverpool fans are planning a protest over the prices for the new stand at Anfield. £77 is the admission price. I would never pay anything like that to watch a game of football.

Some STH would say that they've shelled out hundreds of pounds and are yet to watch a game of football at Molineux this season.

A grand total of 200 seats at that price point. Two thirds of current season tickets will be frozen or even reduced. But let's all have a protest.

Premier League clubs have turned down a proposal to cap away tickets at £30 despite making more than £8bn from TV rights. Wankers.

Wnger has said the extra money will go on players, not addressing ticket prices.
(Think he's talking generally, not specifically arsenal).

Yes and he thinks that the recent Chinese transfer activity will force up transfer fees and wages in the Premier League.

Those comments by Wenger about the increased television money being used on players makes me laugh. He may be right, but it won't be happening at the Arsenal...

Liverpool are saying that locally based fans will be given priority over the lower priced tickets. Sorry but that is just wrong. Liverpool, like Manchester United, attract fans from all over the UK and beyond. Possibly any concessions should be given to fans who travel long distance to see their team.

Who fancies reading three of the worst ideas to "improve" football you will ever see?

I think an actual gibbon rather than someone who merely resembles one could have come up with better. Question for the hirsute one: how does your penalty shoot out gem work at a ground like Molineux where away fans are at neither end of the ground? Get the fans to move at full time as well?

I thought the time added on was stated as "minimum time" so when the board shows 5 minutes, it doesn't mean exactly 5 will be played but at least 5 mins will be played and then some, maybe more depending on your teams time-wasting.

Does my head in when folk complain that someone scored 30 seconds after the time added on.

Correct, Keysie can't grasp this.

Also, no subs in injury time? Very well, if we're 1-0 down and five minutes goes up on the board, I'm sending Matt Doherty into the opposition box on 90:01 to lamp their keeper and knock him out. He'll get sent off but they'll have to stick an outfield player in goal. Capital idea.

Actually that idea is good.
Mainly due to the 3 game suspension for the number 2.

I actually like the idea of any player being fouled in the box being made to take the resulting peno. As if that player were to stay on his feet and not be denied a goalscoring opportunity, how would he do? Lets find out by making him take a penalty.

That article is awful!
from the start:
I can't think of a more contentious subject in the game today than 'time added on'.
Really? The most contentious issue facing the game is this?
He even went so far as to tell us that any player he was thinking of taking off would be told to get to the far side of the pitch so as to make the walk off - and it's always walk - longer! It's a nonsense. Stop it. There's no need.
Are there not already laws about timewasting? And also unsporting behaviour? How about we enforce those rules?

And btw, how many times can you mention bein sports?

What if the player fouled was the full back...He'd joined the attack, ran into the area to the byline, was about to cross the ball when he was brought down. Would he have to fire the penalty sideways to see what his cross would of been like ;)
