Jagielka asked Martin Atkinson what he thought of the 2nd Citeh goal last night and the ball being out.
Atkinson told Jagielka his defending was brilliant.

Sarcastic toss pot.

Atkinson also gave a foul throw before a throw had even been took.

Where did you hear this?

Is it not deemed a foul throw if it's taken from the wrong place?

Perhaps a little quick off the mark to award it before he's completed the throw but if you could see a clear intention to take it in the wrong place then it seems pretty fair.

If the referee thinks the player is taking too long over a throw in, he will tell him to take the throw, if the player still does not take the throw in then the referee can award the throw in to the other team.

Yes, though normally will tell the thrower if he has stolen too many yards.

The stealing yards from a throw in really pisses me off, yet is rarely addressed. There was one in the wolves v qpr game where the ball went out by the dug outs, and the the player had 4-5 run ups that he halted. Must've grabbed a minimum of 15 yards.

Sounds like Barca could be in the shit come the summer when Messi and Neymar's deals get bumped up (massively) again as talks have stalled over renewing their sponsorship with Qatar and Bayern have swooped in.

Watching Feyenorrd v Heerenveen, not sure what to expect first time I've watched any Dutch football.

Should have put this in the live match discussion by the way.

If the Ajax match I watched the other day is any guide you'll have turned over or fell asleep before long.

Yeah, the Micheal Wood story of China on BBC 2 at nine o'clock looks appealing.

A BILLIONAIRE banker is bidding to buy Bolton Wanderers.

Roger Tamraz, who is also deputy chairman of Middle East Airlines and own oil company Tamoil, says he wants to see Whites become a "community club" once again.

A spokesman for Mr Tamraz said: "After months of work Mr Tamraz and his team have put together a bid to buy the football club from present owner Eddie Davies.

Nice to see Kenny Sampson on Goals on Sunday, good luck to him he's certainly been through the wringer in recent times.

That article gives Jagielka's view of the incident. Martin Atkinson may or may not have said what he is accused of saying, but he is not allowed to comment on it. And he really isn't self centred or arrogant.

He needs to work on his manner then because he definitely comes across as both of those when he is officiating. He was poor again yesterday missing several clear decisions.

Terry being given the elbow at Chelsea. I wonder if he fancies the east or the west coast of the USA?

The States is where he will go. Won't play for another English club.

New York will probably be where he ends up.

Villa have appointed former Bank of England Governor Lord Mervyn King to the club's board. Can spot a player can Merv.
