You could picture Arsenals CL campaign before it starts, finish runners up in the group then get knocked out in the round of 16.
I don't agree it's all bad luck they drew Monaco last season and ballsed it up, few years back they were leading the group going into there last game against Napoli and put in a half arsed performance and finished 2nd and drew Bayern in the knock out round.

The draw process is flawed in the Champions League, they need to get rid of the rule that you can't face someone from your own country in the last 16, it serves no purpose. Given they couldn't draw Bayern again immediately - which is sensible - their chances of drawing Barcelona should have been 14%. However because City and Chelsea won their group, it jumps up to 20%, and Arsenal can't control that element.
