If it's true that AJ met the girl in a club, which I assume is age restricted in the UK just as in the US, then that's a reasonable defense for him. Although common sense says that you're willfully ignorant if you don't think at least some of the people in a club are underage.

Dave Mackay has passed away

A proper hardman of football

Mackay apparently hated that photo as it made him look like a thug, when he was actually a very skilful footballer - said that if Bremner had gone for his other leg & not the one he had broken he probably wouldn't have reacted in that way (& yes Bremner was a sly bugger)

Gus Poyet has been charged by the FA following his dismissal from the technical area against Hull City. Steve Bruce though has escaped any further action.

Don't think Bruce really did anything wrong, to be fair.

A Win for West Ham fans...

Chelsea Fans chanting : "there's only one Kurt Zouma"
West Ham Fans chant back : "would you let him on a train"

Cisse and Evans both charged by the FA for the spitting incident. It is clear that Cisse will accept the charge and face a seven match ban, but Evans insists he did not spit at Cisse.

Its as clear as day on the video. Deluded utd again.

It is to his credit that Cisse immediately accepted the charge, one hopes that in the morning Evans will do the same. They were both in the wrong, and should both accept the punishment.

Cisse seems to be up for a seven game ban and Evans only six. Previously disciplinary during the season or the fact that Cisse's offence is absolutely cut and dried. I would hope Cisse gets some credit for the fulsome apology and contrition he has immediately shown.

Cisse will get an extra game ban as he has already been sent off this season, but I agree that the fact he admitted to his offence before being charged should mean he is shown a degree of leniency. Then hit Evans hard for denying the obvious.

ah, but according to Evans & MU he was just spitting on the ground which players do often - the fact that Cisse was only 18 ins away from him was coincidental!

I don't actually see Evans spitting, tbh.
