The comedy that is Blackpool: New Episode - The Cancelled Pre-Season tour.

Still, their Chairman remains that having just 8 players is a positive.

They're going to get absolutely slaughtered, wtf is going on there?

6 players now. 2 walked out of training in protest today.

Do Blackpool have a youth system they can draw players from? If not isn't there a limit of 5 loan players per squad in League games? Will they be able to fulfill their League commitments?

I think they may well be struggling.

Oyston says it is a "great opportunity" for the new manager to build his own squad rather than inheriting one. Deluded....

As a rough recap....

Holloway got Blackpool promoted. Brilliant. £60m in the bank. Oyston paid £11m of that over to a company owned by himself, making him the highest paid director in world football. They went down. Sold players, just missed out on getting back up, and then more and more funds were leeched from the club by Oyston.

Now they have no money, a training ground that was last updated to welcome Stanley Matthews, 6 players left, and no goalkeeper as they sent a derisory contract offer to Gilks by text who unsurprisingly told them to do one.

Only Oyston could make SISU and Venkys look like the bestest owners in the world ever.

They are toast. Sadly it guarantees one relegation place that I was hoping Blues would fill. Still two chances though....

If I dust off my boots and gloves do you think I could help them on their way to League One?

Isn't it his job to be delusionally positive?

Boring fact of the day: Simon English from the Sun Newspaper, purchased a Bastien Schweinsteiger magnet from us the other day

With England at 20 and Russia at 23 that Capello bloke looks hugely overpaid.

Forest signed a Dutch striker called Lars Veldwijk. He scored 30 goals in the Dutch 2nd division and got promoted to the Eredivisie. The Forest STH I know has been banging on about him and reckons he'll do well for them.

I was going to put him in as well, but I thought that Fryatt was enough to be getting on with.
