The kind of game that has caused thousands of laptops to be smashed while playing Football Manager.

I presume a lot of that came from when Blackpool went down to 10 men

The Football League fails to approve use of 3G pitches after vote tied, 34 votes for, 34 against and four abstentions.

FFP rules changed as well. Up to £13m annual losses permitted now.

Nottingham Forest will like that. Just about keeps them out of an embargo. Could come in handy for us as well, in truth.

We won't have lost £13m last season especially as we frontloaded all the depreciation on the likes of JOH/Johnson/Sig/Boukari etc.

I think we're close to break even on transfers since summer 2013. Remember we have sold Ward, Doumbia, Davis, Hennessey, Griffiths, Henry and Hammill in that time. We somehow got loan fees for Doyle and Johnson too.

That frontloading of the depreciation was a good accounting move, and we wouldn't have been in trouble on the old figure, I don't think.

With this extra leeway we might stand a chance of offering a new deal to Sako that is enticing enough even if we failed to get promoted this season.

It's like the anti-thesis to Derby's 3rd goal on Saturday, everyone in the box wants a go!

Morocco pull out of holding the 2015 African Cup of Nations.

No new venue announced as yet.

South Africa have said they will not host the event, and as they were the obvious alternative, I am not sure who will now host it.

I see Sheffield United have confirmed the delightful Ched Evans will start training with them, in response to a specific request from the PFA. I know the PFA have a union responsibility for all of their members, but the fact it has taken Sheffield United so long to comment suggests a lot of pressure has been brought to bear by Gordon Taylor and co.

Do we know why Morocco pulled out?

They are assuming everyone below the Sahara has an infectious disease.
