Ex-Sheffield Wednesday and Sweden midfielder Klas Ingesson has died. He had been suffering with cancer for five years but had continued to manage Elfsborg.

Yes..very tragic. Absolutely lovely guy, honest and a bit quiet. Has fought that blood cancer for 5 yeard i believe..will always remember him as a fighter on the pitch(and off)

I suppose the message is you have to be responsible when using Social Media if you are a high profile person/role model.

Acting like a cock isn't a banning offence and he has probably said a hell of a lot worse on the pitch but if you use Twitter, you know the abuse or sarcy bollocks (which the Tweet he responded to was) is going to come and they have to rise above it. Going back with crappy, offensive comments achieves nothing really. Still a new area they authorities are dealing with and over time the bans will settle down but early doors they will be like this to try and get the message across.

I don't think Attwell was quietly stood down. He, his mentor and the referees association were informed that he was being taken off Premier League games. It was also on the FA website, and the media were made aware of it. Stuart had some difficult times, but has worked very hard and deserves another chance in the Premier League.
