I'm glad this piece of work is getting some attention of the negative variety. A lot of Bolton's dealings under Allardyce were very, very shady and that continued after he left. Same old arrogance from his "Premier League 2" days as well. Excuse me Phil, but if you've run up a debt of £167m under your stewardship with little to show for it and you're currently bottom of the Championship then it kind of obligates you to answer questions, not dismiss them because you don't feel like it.

£25k a week for Keith Andrews!!

Suarez the biter scored a couple of goals vs Oman today.

Shrewsbury have sold out their game against Chelsea with over 10,000 expected. It'll be their largest gate since their cup final against us last season.

Thiago Alcantara has injured his knee again. Him and Holger Badstuber are fast becoming the Neil Masters/George Ndah double act of Bavaria.

FA v Prem League Club battle hotting up.

With the U21 tournament next summer, a lot of players who are around the full squad are eligible to take part. Wenger and Martinez have already "warned" the FA about picking their players like Barkley, Chambers, Wilshere, Ox etc.

I was curious to know what people thought about this. On one hand, you could throw them all in and try and win the tournament but then what does that say to the core of the group that got them there in the first place maybe?

Personally I think the likes of Chambers, Stones, Shaw and possibly Barkley would benefit from it but Wilshere, Ox, Sterling etc are too far in to the senior set up now and I don't think it would help them or the existing group.

They should be told where to stick it.

Were Real, Barca and Atleti warning the Spanish FA about calling up their players when they won it last time around? No. Did it do them any harm? Did it cock.

Carvajal, Montoya, Isco, Illara, Thiago, Koke, Rodrigo, Morata, De Gea, Moreno etc all went. They all had such dismal seasons afterwards...

Experience of international tournaments should be encouraged wherever possible. If we happened to do well, that's only going to be beneficial.

Martinez is beginning to turn into a bit of a cock. Stones (if fit) and Barkley should definitely be going with the u21s, as should shaw and chambers. The clubs can essentially fuck off. If it is competitive play there isn't a lot they can do bar create mystery injuries or claim tiredness. Fuck em. Pick the players anyway and demand they turn up for medical assessment.
