I know that the rankings system is a joke but can anybody explain how Wales beat the might of Andorra and then moved up 12 places to 29th in the world?

Because some crap results from 10 years ago have disappeared out of the calculation probably. We probably lost to American Samoa back then.

Those who get drawn in Munich or Rome for the quarter finals are going to have a distinct advantage in the next round over those who have to play in Baku or St Petersburg. Hopefully it is just a one off.

England did a deal with Germany to ensure they got the Semi & Final (only England and Germany submitted bids). We are backing their bid for the 2024 Euro's in exchange for them pulling out of the running for the Semi/Final of this one. Germany will also back Englands bid for the 2028 Euro
