Platini has apparently broken ranks & said Garcia's report into FIFA corruption should be published.
Garcia himself has also called for this. FIFA are refusing to publish it.

Taken over many years ago here,in Tippeligaen alone there are 8 with and 8 without (they use something called grass!) :)

Thought it was more than 8 with artificial turf actually...

Think 3G pitches are the way forward for lower and non league clubs personally

It appears Sakho stormed out of the ground today after Rodgers left him out of the squad. Bye then. Absolutely horrific footballer.

Bloody hell. Wait till the Champions League actually starts getting difficult. This Liverpool team could fall apart.

Cellino is such an arsehole.

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/sep/26/massimo-cellino-leeds-sack-graham-bean

Cellino, who was away at the time, was not involved in discussions in July about the rearranged fixture and subsequently terminated Bean’s 12-month contract.

Graham Bean, the club’s chief administrator, clearly didn’t realise the way Cellino worked when Reading made the standard request – and this was in July – to move Tuesday’s game back 24 hours because Sky had switched them to Sunday.

Bean signed it off, in keeping with Rule 26.4 of the Football League that stipulates that as long as there is 28 days’ notice the fixture should “automatically be rescheduled”. Yet Cellino was apparently “apoplectic” and “foaming at the mouth” when he found out, insisting with wonderful sporting etiquette that Leeds should have applied their own rules and shown no mercy.

Really hope he ends up failing the Owners and Directors Test and gets chucked out of the game. No place for a buffoon like that, less still a buffoon who's also a convicted tax cheat.

What a moron.

A McNumpty BBC Sport article: is the pressure of captaincy getting to Rooney after his red card yesterday?

FFS - call this journalism? What an absolute crock of shit - a Man Utd captain getting sent off? Never saw that with Vidic, Keane, Cantona, did we? The latter 2 used to lash out in frustration on a regular basis.

The constant witch hunting of English players is incredibly boring. As is the OTT coverage of Man Utd since they've gone off the boil - neither is going away any time soon.

I think he tried to clip Downing's heels, stop the break, take the yellow card and that would be that - the kind of thing you see most weeks from loads of players. The execution was horrible though and he ended up hacking at him knee high. So a red card. Fine. Move on.

McNulty is a terrible journalist, he never displays any wit, emotion, original thought or imagination, his knowledge of the game is poor and he has no distinctive writing style. Plenty of people on here alone outperform him on many of those counts.

Week in week out you here the cliche, 'taking one for the team', which every one from fan to journo to manager his happy with.
Rooney's only fault was that he got it slightly wrong.

Not having that, it was far more aggressive than your typical break stopper. Once again his temper got the better of him, and he lashed out.

His first red card for United in five years. I don't think 'once again' applies here, it's like bringing up Beckham's red card in France 98 when he got sent off for PSG.

Maybe up to a point as the ref had failed to give a blatant handball but I still think he was just trying to stop him.

He should have gone for kicking mutch last year, and there was the sending off for kicking the shit out of someone for England the year before. He's a horrible little cunt.
