Harry "I don't understand how money works" Redknapp spaffing off about FFP. Demonstrating new levels of ignorance here - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29172142

To make it fair play we should be able to spend as much as Manchester United have spent before we play them on Sunday," added Redknapp on Friday.
"That would be fair play, wouldn't it?
"What is fair play because one club can spend £200m on a team and another might spend £8-10m on their team. That's not fair play really, is it?"

And then to top it all off:
Meanwhile, Redknapp says he could sign a new contract with QPR on Friday or Saturday.

Taking a pay cut to help out the club are we Harry???

That's an argument straight out of the Essex Wolf handbook.

Surely QPR have got to be close to spending £200m on thier team over the last couple of seasons anyway!

He's waiting for a few of the finer points to be clarified before signing it and Rosie has been working through the night.

He's not good at Maths though but he doesn't let that stop him from spouting bollocks on things of a financial nature.

Funny how he wasn't saying how unfair it was when they were spending their way through the Championship....

Redknapp has a point though doesn't he?

Redknapp has a point though doesn't he?

FFP is a mess, poorly thought through and inevitably destined for impotence. He's expressed opposition to it like a complete simpleton. And a hypocrite for that matter.

He has got a point, he's using it as an excuse but it's still a massive flaw in FFP, it effectively sets the current hierarchy indefinitely.

Well, that's certainly true @Dan. I just he think he's right, to an extent. Clubs with an international presence have a higher "salary cap" and will likely continue to have. It's a bit of a joke.

Cheers, MarkJim, my thoughts exactly.

I don't believe, for one second, Redknapp is trying to make that point though.

Alan, another win for Stabæk tonight 3-2 away to Start. They're practically safe now, quite an achievement with 'no money' and losing players in the summer. Can't see Bradley wanting to continue for any length of time after the season.
