Fair enough they've changed the rules.

But why that article keeps going on about schurlle being lucky to get one etc. He had one by right!

Not sure what the old rules were for coaching staff, never really thought about them having medals.

So in these new rules the coaches come inside the 40? So if a team uses 28 players then 12 are left for the staff? That's s lot of medals but at big clubs you may end up in a situation where you give it to one physio and not the other!

Quelle fucking surprise.

It doesn't say they won't be fined.

Andre Schuerrle, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Nathan Ake are all to be awarded Premier League medals at the request of Jose Mourinho.

Ake hasn't played in the league all season and has more Premier League medals than Gerrard...

Bolton are negotiating with Eider Gudjohnsen & Emile Heskey.

Why?

Hull City's Jake Livermore has tested positive for cocaine and will not play again this season.

It doesn't say they won't be fined.

It wont be the full fine though, QPR will whittle it down to £5-10million. They wouldn't have got a penny if they'd have kicked them out the league though.

Why?

I can understand Gudjohnson as he was actually quite useful off the bench for them but Heskey was finished years ago.

QPR will be allowed to play in the Championship next season

A Football League spokesman said the process is ongoing but added: "In the meantime, the club will be welcomed back into The Football League this summer ahead of it competing in the 2015/16 Championship season."
Football League clubs have already decided to alter their Financial Fair Play rules from 2016-17 .
"With a potential fine and relegation from the Premier League, QPR are facing the loss of about £100m next season," said football finance expert David Bick.
"Getting losses under £8m is a matter of urgency for next season, otherwise they will end up with a transfer embargo ."

Shameful
Despite a total capacity of 74,475 seats, Barcelona and Juventus have been allocated only 19,550 tickets each for the Champions League final

Ref QPR

Its been said that if they challenge the fine in the courts then it will be suspended until the outcome (obviously) but the court case could take years and they avoid the punishment due to them for a long time. Could give them what they need to get promoted and back in the Greed league.

Ref CF final

Absolutely disgusting allocations when you consider both attract crowds of 70k (and many more for Barca) every home game people were always going to miss out on tickets but to give just over 45% of the capacity to actual club supporters just shows what football has become, I dread to think what the ticket prices are!!

Surprised no one has mentioned the disgusting behavior that took place in Argentina this week for BOCA and River Plate's Libertadores tie.

Not really covered over here to be honest. Might have been a few lines on the BBC website

We need stuff forced upon on us. Don't expect us to go and find information for ourselves.

Sorry, my tone was directed at Sky for not covering it. No offense meant toward you.

Sky may have covered it but not enough for it to stand out. 99.9% of media coverage this week for football has been about Gerrard.
