Harry now admits it wasn't his knees. Someone at QPR was out to get him apparently. And he thought he was a certainty for the England job.

Why do the media insist on giving him airtime?

Because it gets reaction from the reading/viewing public.

I know. I shouldn't bite with it really, but it boils my piss that he still gets a bloody stage. Go away to Sandbanks quietly, please.

Not going to happen when the likes of Jim White have him on Speed Dial 1.

Slow news day, lets give 'Arry a call and see what bullshit he can come out with today.

I don't see him getting another job anyway. He's been a major part of three relegations from the top flight in a decade (assuming QPR go down this year, I think they will), he's 68 and won't take any job north of Watford, unlikely to be bothering with the Championship again either, he looked completely disinterested with it last season and would have quit if Zamora hadn't scored at the death. He might get some kind of bullshit consultancy role at Bournemouth if they go up and they're stupid enough to want him on board.

Can't understand why they'd have him back - they were rotten when he was doing a similar kind of role before, then he quit and Howe sorted them out.

I think he was only "advising" them for about two months. Until he left QPR he'd been more or less continually employed as a manager since he went to Pompey in 2002. Longest break was between leaving Spurs in the summer of 2012 and joining QPR in November of the same year, and it's then that he was offering his dubious help to Bournemouth.

Good God, Stuart Pearce.

That's not much better! Sagna FFS!

How can you fuck something up that badly?!

------------------------De Gea---------------------

Zabaleta--------Kompany------Smalling-----Shaw

----------------Carrick------Herrera--------------

----------Mata---------Rooney----Silva----------

-----------------------Aguero---------------------

Vinny's only in because the alternatives are so poor, he has been rubbish this season.

I'd have Jones ahead of Smalling but other than that agree! Nasri might have been in there but he's been pants for a while now

Really? A pundit doing a combined team is a thing now?

Awesome. I look forward to the Wolves - Blues one...

Fucking liar admits he was a fucking liar then?

PS note to paddy, myself, and Deutsch. Avoid football focus this saturday if we want our tv's to survive the weekend...

I really liked the look of Jones four years ago but he's a catastrophe now, terrible on the ball and just goes madly charging into tackles. Smalling has been good since the silly red at Eastlands, he's better on the ball than people give him credit for as well. The alternatives aren't great, Rojo, Evans, Mangala, Demichelis...no ta. Rojo is abysmal, how he has got any kind of gig at a club like United is beyond me.

Rojo is a fans favourite though, not entirely sure why but they seem to love him. I think Jones and Smalling are both ok, not great but do a half decent job. For all the talk of Utd's defence they've got a good record this season

He posts a lot on Instagram. That kind of nonsense wins a lot of people over these days.

He got bombed out of the Russian league for not being up to standard, case closed.

I'll throw in my hat for that...

Ikeme

Iorfa, Batth (I wanted to put Kiernan here but I don't actually know enough about him), Stears, Golbourne

Rajiv, DavDav (still soft for him), McDonald, Price, Sako

Afobe/Dicko (interchangeable, IMHO)

No way does David fucking Davis justify a place in the team ahead of Afobe or Dicko.

I wouldn't want a single one of Blues' players.
