The Film Thread

If Last Jedi is the 9th movie, how come it's called Episode 8?

Rogue One wasn’t part of the main Star Wars movies, it was a stand alone movie in the same universe basically set just before the events of episode 4. There is a Han Solo origin type movie next year I think too

What a load of shite. It had Darth Vader in it!

It isn't part of the original canon nine episodes that Lucas allegedly penned in the early seventies. That's all.

Anyway, just got back. I really enjoyed it but there are lots of unanswered questions. A really good film, but it doesn't displace Empire as the class of the whole piece.

As it was set before and leading up to the events in Episode 4 it is logical that Vader is in.

Think it's too fresh to make such a claim anyway!

Is there enough interest to open a devoted Star Wars thread where we can discuss spoilers and such?

Wonder Woman. A bit too mush for me but the girls loved it.

Die Hard just starting on Channel 4....

Lesson number 1 in life: don't listen to Quirk.

Watched 'Gravity' last night - alright but realistically Bullock should have died at least 5 times before she got back to Earth

Yeh, yeh, yeh If Gal Gadot came up to you and said Mr Boozad take me like a bitch funky sex machine, you'd be all nooo you're too mushy :)

Well, yeah, there is that I suppose. :)

Hard to believe that American Made is based on a true story. Laughable really.
