The F1 Thread

Can see both Lando getting Charles and Oscar getting Max before the end of the race.

Charles with a stunning save there!
Looked to be heading into the wall at high speed

Finally Max gets a penalty and then they double it up. His driving is unreal and the fact he has been getting away from it ever since his fights with Hamilton until now, make it even more remarkable. I don't think this will change how he does things and not until someone gets really hurt will the officials change something.

Well done Carlos. Much encouragement there for Lewis for next season and if Carlos keeps doing this until the end of this season, I can see Ferrari being interested in bringing him back in the future. However, Carlos has always had a career like this where he occasionally peaks and then fades.

Good to see Mercedes letting their drivers fight and some encouraging signs with the youngsters coming through. Hopefully we keep getting races like this until the end. Max will still take the drivers IMO as there is too much to do for Lando to catch him and I do hope McLaren get the constructors as they fully deserve it.

Good stuff. Well done Mexico.

Next season should be pretty decent.

Currently have Ferrari, McLaren, RB and Merc who seem to change each weekend on who is the quickest. Unless one of them has an insane winter of development the season will start with these 4 all in with a chance of winning races. As 2025 is final season under these regs, doubt they will dedicate too much to the cars with the focus on 2026.
The dominant start by Max has probably killed the drivers title unless he has a failure in the next couple of races.
Ferrari probably now the favourites for the constructors and Red Bull looking at 3rd spot.

From Horners comments there is a chance Perez will be binned after the race in Brazil this week if he has another mare of the weekend. Highly unlikely he is in the RB next year though.
