Watching Alonso absolutely throw his Aston around to the max and end up over a second behind was interesting

Obvs just P1 and some teams might be on lower power as they try out new parts (Merc spent most of the session using the prototype tyres and then did a couple of laps on the softs) but yeah Max looks miles ahead. Even took the piss out of Perez's time
